Each kit contains a backing fabric to stitch onto, plenty of wool threads to complete the design, plus extras to allow for any mistakes, a needle and a coloured pattern showing you where to place different colours. Kits also include instructions on how to cross stitch plus a practice piece of fabric to practice if you need to.
Each kit provides more wool that you will actually need, so don’t worry about making any mistakes and starting a section again. If you do run out just send us a message and I can send you some more.
A 50cm x 30cm (20” x 12”) cushion fits perfectly. These are easily available to buy online. Cushions are not included as part of the Cross Stitch kit.
I prefer to frame in size 61cm x 42cm which allows room for a card boarder and gives you a nice smart finish. Alternatively you can fix your finished cross stitch to a ready made wood frame so that your stitches are displayed to their full effect. Frames are not included as part of the Cross Stitch kit.
